Rotor DR1 is a collection of new-media entertainment including a web series, comic book, and movie, that encourages its audience to actively participate in its design using a process coined as Community Collaborated Entertainment by its creators. Set in a post-apocalyptic universe, the story largely focuses on the journey of a young boy named Kitch, his pet drone named DR1, and a young girl named Maya as they all set out to search for Kitch's father, Mitchell Scott.
